About me: I am the Teacher Tutor at Teaching The Way LLC in Florida. My expertise is math. I am currently a homeschool teacher and math tutor. I have several years of experience in the classroom as a math teacher in Florida and virtual tutor. I am a Step Up for Students direct provider. Before I was an educator, I worked in banking, investing, and finance. I was a licensed investment advisor with the series 7, SIE, 66, and 63. I have a bachelor's in business management and an associate of science degree in Business Operations, Personal Finance, and Accounting. I love working with numbers and my favorite part of being an advisor was teaching.

So, taking the pay cut and making the switch, has been the best decision ever because I love helping others learn. Instead of making millionaires more money, my dream is to help the average person become more successful by understanding the mechanics of math, which in turn will help them with their finances in life.

My approach is that every student can learn. My teaching method is to make learning fun through interactive conversations and breaking down lessons to the smallest level. I build students' knowledge from the ground up. My methods have been successful with autistic students, ESE, 504, IEP, ESOL, advanced, and gifted students. I love working with students of all abilities, ages, languages, and levels.

I'm currently offering tutoring in GED Math, business & investing, as well as elementary, middle, pre-algebra, algebra, and geometry math. I also complete homeschooling evaluation sign-offs in Florida. I provide professional consultations on how to get started homeschooling, building curriculum, and schedules. In my spare time, I am writing curriculum, worksheets, and lesson plans for homeschool students. I also create learning videos and blog. Getting ready to launch an investing and personal finance enrichment course. I am listed on Step-Up and other ESA scholarship programs.
